Humprey - HUMPHREY" black on chartreuse; and "Presidential Candidate George Wallace - "Stand Up for America" black on gold. Each container contains some of the colorful gum cigars w/the candidates pictures on the wrappers and R/W/B design. All in original plastic packaging. A total of 49 cigars in the displays. Two of the see-through plastic displays have some damage, but still having all three, for the three major candidates, offers a great visual display for that significant campaign year; plus, presidential preference items are traditionally highly collectible when they show both, or in this case, all three major candidates. $75.00

Political: Metal bust of Chicago Mayor Cermak. Very dark, almost black pot metal. Quote on base, "I am glad it was me instad of you." c. 1933. Reference is to the attempted assassination of Franklin Delano Roosevelt in florida where the bullet hit the mayor instad of its intended target, FDR. 7" high. There is some damage on the top, just above Cermak's hairline, a split and hole in the metal. Otherwise in excellent shape; a nice item. $30.00

Political: Paper Campaign balloon. Generic. 8 alternating 23" panels of 4 colors - blue, yellow, green and red, each with designs including 4 different large designs, two of bald eagles. Manufactured by Sprague and French, Norwalk, Ohio. These paper balloons were popular in the political torchlight parades of the 1870s and 1880s with the balloon fitting over a wire frame which held a candle or lantern light. Few survived because they usually caught on fire. This one is in very good condition with a few tears at the top of the baloon. Wire frame not included. $50.00
