Wallace Commemorative State Spoons |
Victorian looking state spoons marked Wallace A1+. Circa late 1800s. The fancy designs on these spoons vary a great deal from one another. All have the same scalloped top, a plain bowl and the name of the state embossed on the handle. Some have a spread eagle/shield design, farmer w/sythe, state flags and shields, a hunter, flowers. Most have at least three of these combinations. Have the following spoons:

Fancy state spoons marked "Wm Rogers & Son AA". Attractive with eagle at top of handle w/name of state directly below the eagle. A different shield & slogan, probably the state seal, below each name followed by a 5-tier floral design. All this is in the top half of the handle. The remaining part of handle & the bowl of the spoon are plain. Nice. Circa 1880s. Have spoons for the following states:

Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. spoons commemorating the U.S. Presidents. These spoons have a gold finish rather than the more common silver finish spoons. Each spoon has the image of the president embossed at top of handle, their name embossed going down the handle an etched image significant to the president in the bowl of the spoon. 6" long. These were produced in the 1970s.
