Bank: Glass block bank w/slit in top. One side is frosted w/image and "See Your Savings" and other side is frosted w/"What Do You Think, I'm Saving for Mink" w/image of a mink. This apparently has been added after manufacture and is probably circa 1950s when a mink coat was "the" thing to own! Small chip off slit area. Definitely a classic 1950s-era collectible!

This is a special advertising centennial anniversary bank for A&P Food Stores. Has a sketch of an A&P store on the side plus "1859 1959 100th Anniversary" All printing is in red. 3-3/4"

Bank: Unusual bank from the Jimmy Carter presidential campaign. This is a regular Billy Carter beer can, however you cut the top out of it and there is a blue plastic bank top w/slit that fits firmly on the top and states, "I had a beer with Billy in Plains, Georgia" in white lettering. Designed to snap on empty Billy Beer can, thus making it a bank. These were available from a small store in Plains.

Bank: Small 3" tin can container w/slot in top. Paper label promotes this as a generic "Building Fund Bank" for expanding community building projects immediately following World War II. Art sketch on side of bank shows a family looking up at a montage of a church, school and cathedral. Space on label to write address and affix stamp so could be used as a self-mailer. Copyright 1945. Bright red and off-white.

Gold color w/black lettering advertising "Mutual Federal Savings & Loan association" w/bank's address listed for Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach and Princess Anne, w/quote, "If youth but knew what age would crave many a penny youth would save." Circa 1950s or earlier.

Bank: 9" high clear glass bank in shape of Pres. Lincoln. Label at bottom, front says: "Your Lincoln Bank Bottle For your Lincoln Pennies;" label torn at edges. "Lincoln Bank Bottle" embossed on back. Cap of bottle is black, looks a little like a top hat. Outline on top of hat shows wear, apparently, you are supposed to cut the coin slot.
